Organic Vapors
The filter cartridge contains high-quality activated carbon components to effectively absorb common organic vapors and solvents found in industry, such as:

Paints, printing inks, surface coatings.

Organic solvents (paint thinners, benzene, toluene, xylene, acetone, formaldehyde, etc.).

Adhesives, synthetic resins.
-
Gasoline and petroleum products.
-
Agricultural chemicals (certain pesticide vapors/gases).

Acid Gases / Inorganic Gases
As noted regarding acids, the 3M 6003 filter cartridge is specifically designed to filter the following specific acid and inorganic gases:

Hydrogen Chloride (HCl vapor).

Chlorine ($Cl_2$).
-
Sulfur Dioxide ($SO_2$).
-
Hydrogen Fluoride (HF).
-
Chlorine Dioxide ($ClO_2$).

Hydrogen Sulfide ($H_2S$ - only within permissible limits according to standard ratings).
Safety Recommendations:
❗ Only use in professional working environments where risk assessments have been conducted and thorough control systems are in place.
❗ Always perform a seal check (fit check) before entering hazardous areas.
❗ Do not use the filter box if:
It is expired or has exceeded the recommended usage time.
It is damaged, deformed, or contaminated beyond cleaning.
❗ Replace immediately when you feel an increased resistance to inhalation.
❗ If you smell or taste anything unusual while wearing it correctly, leave the area and replace the filter cartridge.
❗ Stop use immediately if you experience dizziness, irritation, or respiratory abnormalities.
Do not use in the following cases:

❌ Environments with an oxygen concentration below 19.5%, for example:

Confined spaces, cellars, storage tanks, etc.

❌ Environments where contaminant concentrations exceed legal limits or fall into the IDLH (Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health) category.

❌ If you have a beard, mustache, or facial hair that prevents the respirator from making complete contact with facial skin ➜ reduces protective efficiency.

Replacement & Maintenance Instructions:

🔄 Replace the filter box according to the manufacturer's operating instructions – before reaching the usage limit.
